Day 3 - Trailer shell mold
We started and completed the shell mold today. “It will only take about half an hour…” has become a staple in our house, because nothing with the trailer has taken a half hour. After half an hour of just opening boxes to find the right pieces and searching for the right music for the build; we were ready to get started.
...After another 10 minutes we finally found piece 1! 40 minutes into the 30 minute project we finally began!
Feeling like old folks, being the puzzle masters that we are, the “puzzle joints” used to assemble the mold gave us no trouble. It was the “butt joints” that brought us back down in age as we giggled (OK, I giggled, queue eyeroll from Kalah) through the first section of the mold. We quickly found our rhythm and knocked out the rest of the individual sections. From there we slid all the sections together to complete the mold:
